STEP 1
Project intake
Use any of the three input methods. Source data stays separate from interpretation.
Text parser
Recognises section headings, dimensions, repeated items and room/location notes.
- Original text is preserved.
- Interpretation is shown separately.
- Uncertain opening types become Review Required.
Survey workflow
PDF and image files can now be sent to the secure server-side AI parser when this build is deployed on Netlify. The original file remains separate from the interpreted schedule.
Draft rule only: use the smallest field measurement, subtract 10 mm, then round down to the next 10 mm. It is disabled by default.Plan workflow
The upload parser reads PDF page text and page images, or a standalone image, then returns a reviewable Window & Door Schedule. Unclear dimensions or configurations stay flagged for review.
Missing height or configuration must never be guessed. Those rows remain blocked for final pricing.
STEP 2
Window & Door Schedule
Detailed list. Source facts and GaBe interpretation remain distinct.
| Item | Source | Location | Requested / interpreted type | Qty | Width | Height | Colour | Status |
|---|
STEP 3
Configuration review
Approve product type, glazing assumptions and manufacturing dimensions before pricing.
STEP 4
Pricing
Prototype estimator uses 2026 GaBe historical items normalized to White, then applies approved pricing rules.
| Item | Type | Size | Qty | White base | Colour | Final unit | Line total | Confidence |
|---|
Estimator note
This MVP uses transparent nearest historical comparables for the browser demo. The production build will call the validated server-side pricing model. Any row missing a confirmed size or product type is blocked.
STEP 5
Output
Save or print the technical schedule independently from pricing.
Window & Door Schedule
Detailed technical list with measurements and review status. Pricing can be excluded.
Quote Summary
Customer-facing pricing summary based on the approved configuration.
Project File
JSON keeps the original input, interpreted data, approvals and pricing state together.
Audit principle
Nothing downstream overwrites the original source data.
